Luther Vandross was a legendary R&B artist from New York City. He had massive success for his entire career, with each of his original albums goingplatinum besides 2003's "Dance with My Father" and 1998's "I Know", with the former still being certified gold. In 2003, Vandross suffered a strokecaused by complications from diabetes, and he ended up going into a coma, this permanently ending his music career. Disappearing from the musicindustry in 2004, Vandross before passing away in 2005 from poor health due to the stroke at the young age of 54.
