Christian Münzner is a German guitarist who has gained fame through his work with bands such as Necrophagist, Obscura, and Spawn of Possession. He began playing guitar in 1993 and played his first live gigs in 1994. He started teaching at the age of 15, and in 2002 he graduated from the Munich Guitar Institute. He released a solo album entitled 'Timewarp' in April 2011. In October 2011 he was diagnosed with focal dystonia in his left hand, but so far this has not significantly affected his playing ability.
