This new wave act has something of a confusing discography. In the early days, they signed indie label Attic Records and released three albums;
Katrina and the Waves, Shock Horror! and Katrina and the Waves 2. Subsequently, the band signed to Capitol Records,
rerecorded their most promising songs in the power pop genre, and released that album once again simply using the title Katrina and the
Waves, spawning the hit version of "Walking On Sunshine" which you likely have heard.
For the purpose of this page, their original Attic Records release is entitled Katrina and the Waves 1 and the Capitol rerecording as merely
Katrina and the Waves. Any other albums should be clear titled as is.
