Spinal Tap was a cult movie directed by notorious Rob Reiner, and starring Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer, among others. Some people have not realized that Spinal Tap is not actually a group, and the film itself is a blow to the 70's to 80's up and coming glam metal scene. It delivers many laughs to this day. Despite only being a cult classic, the actors from the film got together once more to make another album and movie, neither of which were very successful or viewed positively by critics.
