Cast was a Britpop band from Liverpool, England that first formed in 1992. The group had significant popularity throughout the1990's, primarily between 1995 and 1997, which happened to be the commercial peak of Britpop music in the UK. After decliningsales, Cast ended up disbanding in 2001, shortly after the release of their final album "Beetroot", although the group reunited in2010 and released "Kicking Up the Dust" in 2015, which is their first original album release in 14 years.
