Magic Dirt is an alternative rock band from Australia. First formed in 1991, the group were largely a more underground band throughout their first several years of activity, although they did experience some commercial success throughout the early 2000's. In August of 2009, bassist Dean Turner passed away from cancer, and Magic Dirt then went on an indefinite hiatus beginning in early 2010. In 2018, Magic Dirt reunited and have since played live a few times, although it is uncertain whether or not the group plan on recording any new material. https://magicdirt.bandcamp.com/
