Orphaned Land fuse doom/death metal as well as Jewish folk music and tradition. Although they have technical skill anddetermination, theirmusic is notnecessarily appealing to fans of the doom/death metal genre at large, as the eastern influenceand pop notions largely outmode their doommetal "roots."Therefore creating a unique blend of metal and traditional Jewishmusic, thus creating a "new" metal sub-genre entitled Oriental metal.Orphaned Land is:Kobi Farhi - Vocals and growlsYossi Saharon (Sassi) - Lead guitar, Saz, Buzuki, Oud (orientalinstruments)Matti Svatitzki - Rhythm guitarUri Zelcha - BassAvi Diamond - Drums
