Gorillaz is a virtual band, comprised of four fictionalanimated band members: 2D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel.They play a variety ofmusicstyles? to quoteone of their lyrics,theyhave recorded everything from "Rap, Hip-Hop, Punk, Ska,toHeavyMetal". The bandwas created byDamonAlbarn fromtheBritpopband Blur, and Jamie Hewlett, the creator ofthecomicbookTank Girl. The band's firstalbum, 2001'sGorillaz, soldover 3million copies and earnedthem anentryin the GuinnessBook ofRecords as the MostSuccessfulVirtualBand. Their next album released wasin2005,Demon Days included thehitsingles'Dare'and 'FeelGood Inc.'.
