Drowning Pool are a hard rock 4 piece band from Dallas, Texas. After their first debut album, singer Dave Williams passed away in 2002 from natural causes when the band continued touring and disbanded shortly. They however reformed in late 2003 with new singer Jason "Gong" Jones until 2005 and SOiL singer Ryan McCombs is now the current singer of the band.
