later, the band returned with their major-label debut 'Ixnay on the Hombre', 5 singles were released. The album didn't match
thesuccess of the previous album, but did sell quite well, with the popularity of the singles "All I Want", "Gone Away", and
"IChoose". 1998 saw the release of 'Americana' which was just as successful as 'Smash, with the huge hits "Pretty Fly",
"WhyDon't You Get A Job", and "The Kids Are Alright" and other single "She's Got Issues". In 2000 they released Conspiracy
ofOne which sold less than Americana, and received fair reviews but still sold fairly well. Conspiracy Of One included the
hits"Original Prankster" and "Want You Bad". In early 2003, longtime drummer Ron Welty left the band while they
wererecording their next album, Splinter, which received fair reviews, but still sold reasonably well, with the singles 'Hit That'
and'Head Around You'. After five years of silence, The Offspring returned with their new album, 'Rise and Fall, Rage and
Grace',in June 2008. Which included the huge hit 'You're Gonna Go Far Kid', other hits 'Hammerhead' and 'Kristy Are You
DoingOkay?'. Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace sold well but less than other albums and had average reviews. The Offspring
returnedin 2012 with the song 'Days Go By', which was positively received, from the album of the same name. The second
single'Cruising California' performed well in some countries but was criticized by some fans. Days Go By, the album,
receivedaverage reviews and sold less than Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. As of 2014 The Offspring are currently working on
