The Pharcyde are a hip-hop group best known for their 1992 debut Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde. Its jazzy production and humour gave the albumlegendary status. Though their follow-up Labcabincalifornia is now fairly well-received by fans, its more serious direction was not what critics andfans were wanting at the time, hurting their success.
