An influential 90s hip hop duo with CL Smooth as MC and Pete Rock as producer. Their work was critically acclaimed, but not assuccessful commercially.
Pete Rock most notably went on to become a high profile as a producer, while CL Smooth pretty muchdisappeared for three years. From 2001 through
2004, Pete Rock and CL Smooth temporarily toured, but declined any ideas ofcreating more music. In 2010, however, the duo reunited for good, and are
currently in the process of creating another newalbum.
