Exemption was a progressive/stoner metal band from Long Island, New York. Formed by vocalist/bassist Tom Moran, guitarist Nick Lee and
drummer Ray Marte in 2003, Exemption released their first album, "The Rabbit Hole" in 2007, when the band members were still in high school.
They released an EP entitled Harmony of the Spheres in 2009, and a second full-length, "Public Cemetery Party" in 2010. The group disbanded in
2013 due to musical differences within the group. Lee and Marte went on to Form Moon Tooth, while Moran has since embarked on a low-
key solo career.
