The Jacksons were a R'n'B/Funk and later disco group formed in 1975 and were one of the most sucessful acts of the late 1970s/ early 1980s, although nowdays their are mostly remembered for spawning the worlds biggest solo star, Michael Jackson. The band were orginally known as The Jackson 5 (1969-1975), but changed to The Jacksons after moving to Epic from Motown record label. Brothers Jackie, Tito, Marlon, Michael and Randy Jackson made up The Jacksons, although Michael left after 1984s 'Victory' album to concentrate on his hugely sucessful solo career after 1982s 'Thriller' had become the biggest selling album ever. The bands most famous songs are 'Blame It On The Boogie', 'Can You Feel It', Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground)' and 'Heartbreak Hotel'.
