Tha Dogg Pound, also known as D.P.G. (Dogg Pound Gangstaz) is a rap duo made up of Kurupt and Daz Dillinger. The duo is best
known for their 1995 debut album, "Dogg Food", which went on to sell over two million copies, and is often considered to be a
true staple in the west coast hip hop genre. The duo split in 2002, following a heated rivalry for a few years between Kurupt
and Daz. However, in 2005, Tha Dogg Pound reunited, and, in June of 2006, the duo released its comeback album, "Cali Iz
Active", which reached number 28 on the Billboard charts, and number 5 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
