T.V. was a short lived pop/rock band from Japan. First formed in 1985, the group almost immediately became a major act when
they signed to Polystar, although the group proved to be a major flop, and T.V. ended up disbanding in 1989. Although their
material failed to sell that well, T.V. remains significant today for being the first group of semi-popular vocalist Tetsuya
Katsuragi, who would start his own solo career in the early 1990's, and drummer Kota Igarashi, who would later join the
massively popular pop punk band Judy and Mary.
