Sweet Sensation is an R&B/dance trio from NYC that first formed in 1985. Formed during the peak of the popularity of the
freestyle music subgenre, the trio had some slight success throughout the late 80's, more specifically with the single "Never Let
You Go", which topped the Hot Dance Singles Sales and Hot Dance/Club Play charts. The group's mainstream popularity
vanished in 1991, however, and Sweet Sensation ended up disbanding in 1993. In 2005, the group reunited, and have since
performed occasionally.
