Scratching Post were a Canadian hard rock/nu metal band that formed in 1992. The group released its debut album, "Flamethrower", in 1996, which garnered the band an impressive underground following. The group even appeared on the infamous Tom Green Show during this period. The group released its second album, "Destruction of the Universe", in 1998, and their third (and final) album, "This Time It's Personal", in 2000. The group is assumed to have split shortly afterwards.
