Salt-n-Pepa are a highly influential hip-hop trio that formed in 1985. Consisting of DJ Spinderella and emcees Salt and Pepa, the
trio went on to face international success, and are probably best known for their 1987 single, "Push It", which has appeared in
numerous forms of media throughout the years, and also broke various international charts. Salt-n-Pepa initially split in 2002,
but reformed in 2007.
