Roxanne Shante

Roxanne Shante (officially stylized as Roxanne Shanté) is a female emcee from Queens, NYC. She is best remembered for her role in the historic "Roxanne Wars", which served as one of hip hop's earliest rivalries, or "beefs", and solidified Shante as one of the true breakthrough female emcees.
