Born in New Hampshire in 1973, Ray LaMontagne has crafted folk rock albums that have garnered critical comparisons to TheBand, OtisRedding, Nick Drake, and Van Morrison. He has released five albums since 2004, the latest being 2014's 'Supernova',produced by Dan Auerbachof the Black Keys, and this year's 'Ouroboros', a song cycle produced by My Morning Jacket's Jim James.
