Lynise Walters, better known as Queen Pen, was a female hip hop artist from NYC. She got her first break in 1996 when she appeared on Blackstreet’s
1996 smash hit single “No Diggity”, and she later released her debut album, “My Melody”, in December of 1997 on Interscope Records. The album was
a slight hit and produced some moderately popular singles, although Queen Pen later left Interscope by 1999, and she didn’t release her second

release, it failed to perform well on the charts as it barely entered the Billboard at all, as it reached a peak position at number 134, and Queen Pen
