Porter Robinson (born July 15, 1992) is an American electronic dance music producer and DJ. He primarily produces in the electrohousegenre,but has also experimented with dubstep and moombahton on his Spitfire EP.Porter Robinson began producing at the age of 12 using Sony ACID Pro emulating sounds he heard from video games. He laterbeganproducingHands Up under the alias Ekowraith[1] using FL studio. Robinson primarily uses Lennard Digital Sylenth1, Native InstrumentsMassive,3xOsc,Sytrus and many other commercial audio plugins.He is currently 19 years old and recently graduated high school in his hometown of Chapel Hill, North Carolina.[2][3]
