Pikotaro is the alter ego of Japanese comedian Daimaou Kosaka. In 2016, the Pikotaro project had developed an international following, mainly due
tothe humongous surprise success of the single "PPAP (Pen Pineapple Apple Pen)", which became an internet sensation in late 2016. The short video
forthe single currently has over 100 million views on YouTube.
