Micadelic is a Japanese hip hop trio. Formed in 1998, Micadelic soon became the talk of the Japanese hip hop underground, and
became acclaimed for their signature blend of hardcore hip hop elements, with some comical dialogue accompanied on most of
their albums as well. In 2001, the trio signed to Avex, although none of their material broke the Oricon charts. Micadelic then
signed to Victor Entertainment in 2003, again, with none of their material charting. Although they have not announced an
official breakup, Micadelic have remained largely inactive since 2006.
