Mean Machine were a short-lived all-female Japanese garage rock band. Consisting of Yuki Isoya, Chara, Mayumi Chiwaki,
Yukarie (a former dancer of the legendary experimental/fusion band, Jagatara) and Ayumi Itao (now known as an acclaimed
actress), Mean Machine were a unique supergroup that kept their style unique by keeping it as lo-fi and garage-oriented as
they could. The band seemed to have disintegrated by 2002.
