Lifer was a short lived nu metal band from Pennsylvania. Originally formed under the name of Strangers with Candy in 1999, the group soon
changedtheir name to avoid confusion with the Comedy Central cult series of the same name. In August 2001, Lifer released their only full length
album, whichwas titled "Lifer". The album was critically panned, and Lifer ended up splitting by the beginning of 2002.
