LeVert

LeVert was an R&B trio from Cleveland, Ohio. It was founded by Marc Gordon of the iconic R&B group The O'Jays and brothers Gerald and Sean Levert in 1983, whose father was the legendary soul singer Eddie Levert, who remains one of the last original members of The O'Jays today. LeVert had some success throughout the late 80's and early 1990's, although they later ended up disbanding in 1995. Afterwards, both Sean and Gerald went on to launch solo careers, with the latter arguably having the most success. The two would go on to remain active in their solo careers until their respective deaths in 2006 and 2008.
