La-PPISCH are a Japanese rock band that first formed in 1983. La-PPISCH's earlier material consisted of a straightforward ska/new wave style, but, around the turn of the 1990's, the group adopted a more broader style that managed to cover the horizons of alternative, funk, hardcore punk, psychedelic, among others. The group split in 2005, but reunited in 2008.
