They later left No Limit in 1999, and in 2001, Kane and Abel were sentenced to three years in prisonfollowing a two-year long drug distribution case. As a result, the duo went on a hiatus, although one album was released duringthis hiatus, "The Last Ones Left", in 2002. In 2003, Kane and Abel were let out a year early, and released their comeback album that year, "Welcome Home", which was acollaboration album with The Most Wanted Boys, a group they helped found right before their incarceration. The duo released asingle later that year and a compilation album in 2004, "Street Legends: The Underground Tapes", before mysteriouslydisintegrating from the rap circuit by 2005. In 2010, Kane and Abel announced they had signed to E1 Music, and the duo thenreleased "Back on Money" later that year, which was their first original album release in eight years. This revival of activitywould prove to be short lived, however, as the duo disintegrated once more by 2012. It can be presumed that Kane and Abelhave since disbanded. « hide
