Jelly was a punk rock band from Japan that formed in 1998. The group had some impressive mainstream success throughout the early 2000's,
mainly due to their collaborations with visual kei icon Kiyoharu, best known as the frontman for the groundbreaking band Kuroyume and SADS.
Their commercial success faded almost entirely by 2003, however, and Jelly wound up disbanding in 2008, following the drummer's arrest for
pedophilia. Frontman Fuyami went on to form the progressive rock band Laid Back Ocean.
