Jamal Phillips, better known as Jamal, was a mildly successful rapper from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. One half of the moderatelypopular rap
duo Illegal, Jamal released one solo album in 1995, "Last Chance, No Breaks", to decent sales. Shortly after itsrelease, however, Jamal
disappeared from the public eye, and currently works as an independent emcee.
