Desmond Francis, better known as Infinite, was an underground rapper from Canada. Getting his first break as a member of the legendary group Ghetto Concept in 1989, he went solo in 1995, soon becoming known for his somber style which took many influences from his old neighborhood growing up. Infinite became one of the most talked about and respected artists in the late 90's Canadian hip hop circuit, which helped him semi-crossover when he did the theme for the smash game Street Fighter: 3rd Strike. Unfortunately, despite his growing recognition in the rap universe as a whole, Infinite ended up mysteriously disappearing from the scene in 2000.
