Ill Al Skratch

Ill Al Skratch was a hip hop duo that first formed in 1992. Hailing from Brooklyn, NYC, it consists rappers Big Ill and Al Skratch. Ill Al Skratch released a few singles and two albums, with their greatest success being their 1994 collaboration with Brian McKnight, "I'll Take Her", which reached number 62 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 5 on the Billboard Rap chart. The duo's success quickly declined by 1997, however, and Ill Al Skratch ended up disintegrating in 1998. In 2011, after over a decade apart, Ill Al Skratch reunited as Brooklyn/Uptown Connection, with the duo releasing their comeback single, "'Bout My Money", in 2012. Despite speculation of a new album in the works, nothing else came out of it, and the duo ended up mysteriously disintegrating once more by 2015. « hide
