Honeydip was an underground Japanese alternative rock band that first formed in 1996. They were known for their rich,
atmospheric sound which generally had a shoegaze-center to it. Honeydip then changed their name to Sugarcoat in late 2002,
but eventually ended up splitting all together in 2003. Some of the members of Honeydip/Sugarcoat went on to form Tron.
