Field Mob

Field Mob are a Southern hip hop duo that formed in 1996. In 2000, the duo signed to MCA, and went on to release a fewalbums under the label. In 2002, Field Mob released one of their most well known singles, "Sick of Being Lonely", which charted relatively high on the Billboard charts. In early 2005, the duo signed to Disturbing Tha Peace Records (founded by legendary Southern hip hop artist Ludacris), and the duo released two more well known singles, "Georgia" (with Ludacris and Jamie Foxx) and "So What" (with Ciara). Both singles fared well on the charts. However, the duo haven't released any material since their departure from the DTP label and went on an unofficial hiatus in 2010. In 2012, they were rumored to be signed to T-Pain's own label, Nappy Boy Entertainment, although it would end up only being a deal for one-half of the duo, Smoke. In 2016, Field Mob finally returned and remain active at a very sporadic pace today. « hide
