Formed in Liverpool in 1978, Echo & The Bunnymen are a long-enduring post-punk band lead by vocalist Ian McCulloch. Theyenjoyed reasonable success in the 1980s before issuing a series of flop albums. The group received notable attention with thefeature of their hit song "The Killing Moon" in the cult film Donnie Darko, which coincided well with an '80s-musicresurgence early in the twenty-first century. After a four-year recording gap, Echo & The Bunnymen released an album in2005, entitled Siberia. They followed by releasing The Fountain in 2009, and Meteorites in 2014. In 2018,they released The Stars, the Ocean & the Moon, a studio album that contained mostly rearranged and re-imaginedversions of some of their best-known songs.
