Cindy Lee is the most recent iteration of Pat Flegel, the former lead singer of Canadian post-punk band Women. Their approach is more of a 60s pop inspired post-punk, drenched in lo-fi. Challenging to some, their music blurs several genres, and takes influence from Deerhunter, Sonic Youth, and Bauhaus. Flegel keeps a low profile, so not much information is known about their disposition, but based on live performances they are transitioning into a drag/possibly transgender role.
