Cay was an alternative rock/grunge band from England that first formed in 1997. Within a year of the group’s formation, they received an impressive amount of positive coverage from the country’s leading music magazines, with their signature blend of emotionally charged grunge and fast-paced technical punk garnering strong acclaim. Despite their sudden popularity, Cay would end up abruptly disbanding in December of 2000 after releasing only one album and a few singles.
