B-Dash was a successful Japanese punk band. Formed in 1997 originally under the name of Haguki-Dash, the group changed
theirname to B-Dash by 1999. Within a few years, B-Dash became one of the most well known figures in the up-and-coming
Japanese punk scene, and in 2002, their album, "Po", became their best-selling album to date, as it reached number 3 on the
Oricon charts, and stayed in the charts for a remarkable run of 30 weeks. Although this success largely died down by 2007, B-
Dash are still considered to be one of the most recognized punk bands in modern Japanese music. In 2017, after over 20 years
of activity, B-Dash officially disbanded for unknown reasons.
