Auto-Mod is an iconic Japanese gothic post-punk band that formed in 1980. Originally disbanded in 1985, Auto-Mod reformed in1997, and have been
touring and releasing material quite regularly ever since. The sound of Auto-Mod since their revival,however, is a lot more industrial-driven, and tends
to tone down their initial post-punk elements. Nevertheless, Auto-Mod areconsidered to be a tremendous influence on both the Japanese goth and
visual kei scenes.
