4 East Flava was an alternative hip hop group from the Philippines. Originally formed in 1992 as Gangsta Hood, the group eventually changed their
name to 4 East Flava by late 1993. Releasing their debut album, "Too Much Flava", in August of 1994, they soon developed a strong underground cult
following for their blend of hardcore hip hop with tinges of reggae, R&B and rock. Despite their strong cult following, 4 East Flava ended up disbanding
in 1996, although they temporarily reunited from 1999 until 2005, and again from 2011 through 2013.
