Let me be honest; I don't like punk in general. I'll get into emo and some hardcore/post hardcore, but otherwise I strongly dislike it. While it's generally accepted this album isn't all its cracked up to be, it just has to take a place on this list.

This album is probably the most important record for Britain?s music. It changed the scene by introducing purely american genres onto the music scenes, from rock n? roll, to reggae to jazz. And it influenced so many artists in that scene. And I am grateful for this album for allowing other british artists to follow in their footsteps and give their key perspective to those music genres. The lyrics about war, drugs and celebrity are absolutely representative of this decade. And I understand how it can be considered one of the defining albums of the 80s and one of the best for Britain, for me, it?s not one for me. I don?t feel like this is extraordinary in any way, it?s a very straight-forward, that to me, doesn?t go too much outside the box, with my 2021 mindset.r
