Dark Side of the Moon
I honestly have no clue how this album has achieved the level it has. Well, I do in a way.It's just so dreadfully boring and unenjoyable when I listen to it, that I refuse to really think about it too much. | | 2 |  | Metallica

There's been some controversy ever since me and I think Steerpike first mentioned that the album was overrated a while back, and then Drunken Vikings review blew the lid off. Regardless, it's generic early Metallica in my mind that is only made listenable due to a few decent solo's. | | 3 |  | The Clash
London Calling
Let me be honest; I don't like punk in general. I'll get into emo and some hardcore/post hardcore, but otherwise I strongly dislike it. While it's generally accepted this album isn't all its cracked up to be, it just has to take a place on this list. | | 4 | | The Beatles
Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
I love the Beatles. I like this album. But it's touted as being some huge new breakthrough for music, when perhaps it was, for its time, but absolutely pales in comparison to both the record before and after it. | | 5 |  | Neutral Milk Hotel
In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
My reasoning for this is much like mine for both Pink Floyd and The Beatles, except I don't particularly enjoy any of their other albums. I find the album to be boring, but its also the only NMH album I can listen to. Then again, most claim it to be one of the best albums of the 90's, and I don't feel it would even touch a list I make. | |

06.19.06 | London Calling is not over rated at all. If you looking at it as just another "punk" album, then it would dissapoint to some not familiar with band or album much. Its so much more than punk. Infact there is hardly any stereo typical "punk" there at all.
