Probably the saddest I?ve felt giving an album a 3.5.

Tinnitus: The Album. The songwriting is fine and there's a handful of compelling moments but I can't think of another album in recent memory so utterly nerfed by it's mixing and production choices. There's highlights here that I would like to return to but I have no motivation to due to how grating, distracting and, at times, painful the mix is. It's clearly a stylistic choice but a completely confounding one that makes the album unlistenable.
