Matsson is known for his very charismatic raw voice and lyrical style. He is often compared to Bob Dylan, who shares these qualities--Matsson has regularly confirmed the influence of Dylan as well as other American folk pillars in interviews. He is married to fellow Swedish singer-songwriter Amanda Bergman, who performs under the name of Idiot Wind. The couple have toured extensively together, often performing songs together on stage. He has also toured with Bon Iver. He was formerly the front man in Montezumas. « hide
