Following the departures of founding members Jordan Burns and now
long-time rhythm guitarist Jake Kiley, Strung Out has sounded
like a band on autopilot for a few years now, and this record is
a strong argument for them to retire. The production is bad, the
songs are competent but boring, and the band is just missing the
immediacy and edge from previous albums.
