Good album, but it doesn't take more than one listen to realize this isn't the album of the year.

Neverender is the album of the year already, and its basically the album of all time.

Only like one song from Neverender is unique to this year. Giving what is basically a compilation album "Album of the Year" is sort of silly.

Its not really a compilation, its more of a complete collection. Hey, I'm just saying, it has a freaking 4.6.

I think I'm going to have to give it a 5, 4.5 at least after a couple of listens.

The album is much slower as a prog rock album then what i'm used to in the progressive death scene ;).

Didn't have time to listen to it all but loved the tracks i listened to. Will probably buy this as soon as I can.

Sounds even better after more listens. Definitely a grower.

First half of the album is the better part. The 2nd part is fine, but feels a bit slow.

There's like 4 minutes of filler i'd say, which is good for a 60+ minute album.

I'm starting to think Themata is still better than this album. I'll see once I actually own it.

Not harder to play the guitar seperately probably. But it's much harder to nail the vibe and interplay with the other instruments well than it was on Themata. Prefer that above speed and technicality tbh.

Mmm, this album never makes you want to stand up and scream the words like Themata did for me. Maybe in time it will though.

I love this album, its different than Themata though, more of a grower rather than hit you straight on.

So yeah myspace is being gay so I can't listen to this until my friend gets it. I've been playing the shit out of Themata as compensation.

Brilliant album.

just as if not more technical than Themata. Interesting time signatures, great vocals (Ian Kenny never dissapoints in that regard), great drumming and some really catchy songs.

all I Know, Deadman and especially New Day are the standouts.

I like the more complex, epic songwriting that they've introduced to their songs now
