The keyboards are majestic, the riffs cut through the atmosphere like a warm knife slicing through butter, the vocals still....the same. The choral arrangement are epic beyond belief.

^That could be said for the entire melodeath "genre." Skyfire's one of its better outputs, though. They've improved with every album so far, so hopefully this one'll continue the trend...

hmm, yeah it was alright, sounded a little too old-In Flames-ish for me though, I dug their own sound they had goin on there. Still have hopes for this record tho, the band is fantastic

Damn, am I that predictable? Remember, just because it's metal doesn't mean its good. I will give this a listen after spining throught the new Isis album.
