this is really good. also, why is it that editing news articles makes the formating go to shit?

the self titled had like 2 good songs so my hopes are not too high. but those two songs (the first one and the last one) were amazing.

best thing this guys ever done was prob wide awake morning or four winds ep

I thought he was Bright Eyes, why's he doing solo stuff?

It's actually with a different band so he separates it.

i really liked his first solo album but after listening to this im not terribly impressed. he took out the country flair that gave his debut such a great sound but this is nothing great

More importantly - the tour dates!!! I'm so happy that I saw this news I've been loving Conor and Bright Eyes for about a year now, so I'm happy to see that they're actually coming through this time around!

I'm actually cool with Conor Oberst staying with the solo stuff instead of Bright Eyes. Its a very viable direction for him to head.

Mike Mogis makes a more solid record, but The Mystic Valley Band is damn fun.

Actually after this tour, he's working on another Bright Eyes album. I don't care though cause I like Mystic Valley Band and Bright Eyes just the same.
